Dr. Tarter holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Family and Child focus from Alliant International University, San Diego. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and a M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Dr. Tarter is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in California and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Dr. Tarter specializes in adolescent issues, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, school issues, and assessments.  She specialize in the dynamics that many families raising a child with special needs face.

Dr. Tarter provides individual and therapy, assessments, behavior consultations, and IEP assistance.  She has experience working with Regional Center, school districts, residential group homes, and juvenile hall and probation.  She takes a collaborative approach with families and provide resources to best serve the clients needs.
